Joining the Lanch
If you are interested in joining the Lanch and haven't been a member before, we invite you to come along on a meet without joining. Contact the or for details. Also take a look at the Flyer's for new and returning members (link's below). Complete the Membership Form form, and either send it to the membership secretary, or bring it along to your first meet.
What Membership Offers
BMC Membership
The Lanch is affiliated to the The British Mountaineering Council the UK mountaineering governing body. This offers several benefits
- The BMC provides Civil Liability Insurance for the club and its members for hillwalking, climbing and mountaineering activities.

- A Discount on full BMC membership
- Members of affiliated clubs can take out BMC travel and activity insurance
- And more importantly use of BMC affiliated huts
Lanchester Loudhailer
The "Loudhailer" is the quarterly club magazine, containing accounts of trips away, upcoming events and other club information. The "Meets Sheet" is included with the Loudhailer, providing details of location, cost and local activities for each meet throughout the year.
